Last September 25 in Paris, we had the pleasure of bringing together fifty+ car rental yield management professionals from around the world.

Oneself vision enriched by others

Experience sharing, innovation reviews, peer exchanges: the day allowed everyone to broaden their thinking and oxygenate their revenue management practices.
How to be more responsive to tariff updates?
How to allocate the right fleet for each market segment, especially brokers?
How do automation and artificial intelligence bring clarity and comfort to yield managers?

Some topics among others have provided a better view of the optimization issues and opened the field of reflection on the methodology and sometimes a roadmap. Unlike the hotel industry already organized with daily yield, independent and franchised car rental companies are still very little equipped to face the challenges of digital globalization.

Organization aligned

WeYield goal is to help our users to align their structure and set good practices. Ending the time-consuming manual collections, becoming agiler regarding pricing, optimizing revenue per available vehicle, monitoring and impacting demand … and realizing that everything is going very fast; this is a revolution that must be done internally.

Quick results

Beyond change, we also want to share the enthusiasm. From revenue manager’ side, there is some fun in measuring the performance! That was the case for Marilyne VOLAY, Director of Avis-Budget in Corsica, who spoke with pleasure about her career changes, her business learnings and her first results since she implemented systematic yield approach.

Awareness

Through experience and best practice sharings with the hotel world, our guests were able to realize how far car rental industry from the hospitality one is on the technology perspective. Because of quick internet changes, it is crucial to get the control of each sales actions in the most profitable way. Be agile, be open-minded to changes, anticipate demand trends! Do not miss the train for lack of automation or your business will be at risk.
